Strong Season Finish for Grammarians Hockey Club

What a way to finish the season.

Grammarians Hockey Club delivered when it mattered most, turning a must-win moment into a standout 4–0 performance to lift the championship. From the opening goal by Shane Ramagge to a composed brace from Eric Casciaro and a late finish to seal it, this was a team performance built on belief, energy and quality.

It was not just about the result. It was about the spirit around the team, the support on the sidelines, and the younger players watching on and taking it all in.

For everyone connected to the club, it was a day to be proud of.

This season’s success comes as we enter our sixth year of supporting the club, having worked alongside them over the past five years. During that time, we’ve seen the club continue to grow, bringing together experienced players and new talent, and maintaining a strong presence in local hockey.

Grammarians has a long history in Gibraltar, dating back to 1951, and remains an important part of the local sporting landscape. The club continues to give players the opportunity to compete, develop and represent Gibraltar with pride.

Seeing the team take to the pitch in updated kits this season has been a proud moment for us. It reflects the ongoing partnership and shared commitment to supporting local sport.
