Role Purpose
To be the welcoming face of the organisation while ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day running of our office and facilities. This role combines front-of-house reception duties with hands-on facilities coordination and workplace support.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Front of House
- Greet visitors, clients, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Triage customers requirements to coordinate with service teams
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries
- Handle post, deliveries, and couriers
- Maintain visitor logs and security procedures
- Keep reception and common areas tidy and presentable
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Facilities & Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day running of the office environment
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and contractor visits
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and stock levels
- Liaise with cleaning, security, and service providers
- Support health & safety compliance and workplace checks
- Set up meeting rooms and support events when required
- Identify and implement improvements to office efficiency and experience
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in reception, office coordination, or facilities support
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Professional and approachable communication style
- Strong team player, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem solver with a “can-do” attitude
- Comfortable liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
